So two seasons down, is Nike an improvement over Adidas for Tennessee?

Do we like Nike or not? Uniforms, fan gear, contract, etc. Opinions?

I like most of it other than the contract, which I think is kind of a rip by comparison to other deals.

I think they gave Nike a bit too much power and influence.

The Lady Vols logo is an example.

I thought UT admins were already trying to do away with the whole "Lady Vols" thing in general. I guess I assumed any changes to the logos were due to that.

Do you have other info? I could easily have missed something.

The only thing Nike did wrong was not pushing harder to completely eradicate the Lady Vol bullshite.

I don't want Oregon fan boys having influence in our business.

Yes. I actually will buy and wear Nike gear. Adidas was a joke, what they offer do to fans to buy.

I guess that is where I am different.

If I see a shirt or hat I like I buy it. Nike, Adidas, or knock off. Who actually gives a rat's arse what label is on it? Labels are for runway models.

So soccer loving krauts are preferable to Duck fans?

IMO, the adidas 3/4 zip pullovers fit like shite and felt very cheap. The Nike pullovers seem to fit very nicely and have been quite durable

I will say that I picked up one of the Nike AV15 sweatshirts and it shrunk quite a bit. I have the monkey arm issue, so shrinking long sleeves are really disappointing. Especially when you spend $60 on one (yerp, Fanatics.com sale).

Damn...don't strain something

On another note, I do like the Nike uniforms across the board better than adidas. The only thing I don't really care for is the angular font on the basketball stuff. I think the rest is really well done and the smokey gray helmets are killer.

As has been stated before, I like seeing our football team take the field and look like a football team.

With Adidas I always thought the VOLS jerseys looked like soccer jerseys.

A smokey gray jersey is one of the few Nike items I have.

It's pretty comfortable and not too hot.

Adidas was made for fat people. I could fit my thigh through the arm sleeves on a coaches polo. Adidas hats and visors were a fcking embarrassment. Anytime you saw the good adidas stuff that you would actually want to wear it was only for coaches and players. Nike does the same stuff but at least there are 100 other options.

I have the UGA one and love it. Definitely worth the money.
