Tuttle destroying Marcus Jackson is IMPRESSIVE. Jackson is actually a pretty good OG. Poor Austin Sanders never had a chance against KMAC but honestly who does? If he can do that to Sanders (a RS-Sophomore) during practice 3 of his true freshman year? I think I need a minute alone...

I thought that when they were recruited but damn I'm getting more and more convinced of it.

Apparently Barnett owned Blair today too.
Chance Hall won his rep Vs Vereen tho.

It doesn't look like Tuttle has the explosiveness that Mackenzie has. KM literally has so much momentum from the start that he runs over anyone in his path. Tuttle looks like he uses his size and strength to overwhelm and wear down the Offensive linemen. Nice one two punch we have there. By the way it is now less than a month till kickoff.

Hyams talked about Cam's role at nickel today. Basically (from people who heard it), Mosely and Martin at CB + Cam in the nickel when we face guys like Pharoh Cooper.
My interpretation of this: Staff saw us getting burnt by the two Coopers in the slot and decided they weren't happy with it all. Also, both Emmanuel Mosely and Justin Martin must be ready to go. We all figured Martin was from what we've seen already and we knew Emmanuel had the talent but needed some more work to shake off some of the freshman mistakes and more than anything he needed to gain a little weight. Sounds like they feel pretty confident in his progress.

It sounds like we've got our starting 5 on the OL. This from Pfort this morning when asked if Big Charles is pushing for playing time
Sounding like it's going to be Kendrick,Jones,Crowder,Robertsonand Coleman. Maybe flip flop Jones and Robertson at G.

I think if everyone is healthy that's left he's the first or second guard off the bench. I think Jashon and Jack Jones are your starting guards when game week rolls around. Charles is battling to be number 6,7 or 8.

Jack Jones will make some freshman mistakes but I think we will also really benefit from his pure meaness if he starts. He's the kind of player that plays past the whistle and has the motor and mentality to inspire his teammates.

Jack is mean as hell aparently. He's starting to sound a lot the situation with Jashon Robertson around this time of camp last year. It sounds like he's blowing up, but needs to get healthy.
Random, but check out some of the DT's with Barnett.

Some big news out of Wednesdays practice on the MLB spot.
Jancek also said they were giving foreman starting reps at NB. Said he's played well so far. Also said they feel like they can utilize cam on the outside better than at NB.

From Pfort on the running game
From Hubbs on speaking with Debord about the offense
quote:
I'm talking to both DeBord and Gillespie, they really like where their running game is right now, particularly the running backs. Gillespie was very complimentary of his guys, from Hurd and Kamara, to Abernathy to Kellyand Young. He really likes what he has right now.

Tennessee's offensive coordinator gushed about his units last couple of practices. Very pleased with passing game. Accuracy of dobbs and dormady and praised the growth of the offensive line.

Awesome news all around. I also read where Coleman Thomas was taking reps at center, and Kendrick has recently received more reps at tackle. Glad to see that the intensity of practice has been turned down a notch as well. We need all of the healthy players we can get.

Yeah the first team OL today was
LT Kerbyson
LG Robertson
C Thomas
RG Weisman
RT Kendrick
I really think that lineup has potential. I wouldn't mind seeing Jones instead of Weisman but I'm with the above.

Thank you Jewish God. I am still worried that the O line will sabotage this season, but this looks much better.

I am optimistic in regard to the OL. Kerbyson seems to be the real deal, so LT shouldn't be a liability this year. Thomas at center has always seemed obvious to me. Roberson is an excellent G. Kendrick seemed tk be the best T we had last year, so I am happy to see him at RT.
Everything I read alludes to our RBs being studs. If that is truly the case, then teams won't be able to pin their ears back and pass rush like they did most every down last year.
OL will be improved without a doubt. RBs, QB, and WRs as well. This offense will be potent with just avg OL play.

From what I've read, they're making it sound like he is a different player. I agree that our guards should be fine and Kendrick looked fine last year and makes the most sense T tackle. I am hopeful because on paper, we are solid everywhere else barring injury.
I thought I heard the MIke is down to Jumper and Kirkland? Pretty ballsy but it sounds like each of them are doing well.
