I think we lose Sutton.

Reeves-Maybin is a bit undersized for a LB and will need to bulk up.

Kamara will be a late round projection and needs another year of major college football under his belt.

Thoughts?

Agreed, but won't be surprised if more than Sutton leaves.

Didn't know that Kamara filed papers, did Maggit?

Maggitt is a senior.

I know, I'm not sure how this filing papers thing works. I heard he was possibly gonna try to come back, does he not have to file papers if he's a senior?

No, you only have to declare your intent if you want to come out early.

The papers are for a draft evaluation, and then you decide if you want to come out.

Sutton will probably be a first rounder. He is as good as gone.

The other two probably won't be more than late round projections. They would be taking a huge gamble.

I'm hoping Maggitt gets a red shirt for this past season.

Don't think Maggitt even attempted to get a medical RS. And while I think JRM stays, I wouldn't be that shocked if Kamara jumped as well, next year is looking like possibly one of the deepest RB drafts ever (not that it would affect him that much considering he's not really in the Fournette/Chubb/Cook/Perine/etc. group)

I thought I saw somewhere that JRM had a first round grade by some?

Kamara would be crazy to leave, I think Debo finally started figuring out how to use him (with Hurd) from the Bama game on. Kamara is a good back who could have a ton of yards with more touches.

Kamara hasn't proven anything. It'd be foolish for him to leave

I've seen UGA players leave early then not get drafted so I wouldn't be shocked if AK leaves.

I wouldn't be shocked if he left but it would be a mistake IMO

Oh yeah. But you never know their financial situation at home.

That's true but if you get drafted later than the 5th round you are risking getting cut before the season even starts, it's not likely but it could happen. I know it would be tough but the fam's gotta figure out a way to hang in there for one more year. They've made it this long presumably and if you don't they could easily be right back here in no more than a couple of years plus his ceiling should be much higher

Of course I understand all this is real easy to say when I'm not the one in that situation

I've pretty much accepted that Cam will leave. He's popping up late 1st/early 2nd on a lot of mocks here recently and it would be hard to pass that up imo. Im really worried about JRM and Kamara. Both would be dumb to go this year but it wouldn't surprise me.

IMO of the three mentioned AK leaving hurts the least. Its not as if Joe Young and some of the other young guys back there don't have talent too.

Losing JRM hurts us most with not only his ability but his experience and leadership.

Losing Cam hurts too but we have some guys that can step up.
