I was in Knoxville, and I was closer to the GT receivers than Martin. How much freakin cushion do you really need to give?

Justin Martin was a huge disappointment. Seems he is a practice only guy.

He was terrible. That said, he *might* be better in regular games. Martin is well known for being a Space Cadet and tbh, GT was the perfect team to take advantage of that.
Hopefully, he takes his ADD meds and/or finds some focus when we play normal offenses. Otherwise, get others in there and don't hesitate to pull him.

As bad as the def was. I suspect most of that was due to scheme. If you paid attention every snap our d line would just stand up n step back to avoid chop blocks, the staff and coaches were well aware of the issue and schemed to save knees. When we did bring pressure we got there with ease. We should be much better against normal offenses.... but screw martin, he sucks

I'll excuse the D's performance due to it being GT but Martin has always and always will suck

I just don't get why he wasn't cross-trained. Williams and Smith are both serviceable in the slot. Have Byrd primarily at CB and then have him ready to play some slot if needed. Our CBs are just so bad I don't know why we'd take the best CB on our roster and move him to the slot.
