The two fanbases on here, outside of the usual suspects, who attempted to troll UT the most over the offseason (OM and Mizzou) are now watching their teams totally shite themselves. Mizzou is 2-5 with a home loss to fricking MTSU, and OM is 3-4 and in the west basement per usual. Combined 5-9.

The Mizzou fans, so hateful back in August with their 4 year all time record against UT at 3-1 have pretty much slunk off the field of play. Last night's game against the Blue Raiders was fun to watch.

I didn't see OM fans being such jerks but that could just be me.

I think the UF fans as usual were their boorish arrogant selves back in August, guaranteeing a win over UT when objective factors suggested a Tennessee win.

The UF fans were never really very abashed and they still come to take pot shots from the cheap seats from time to time.

OM fans were insufferable January-April... after the whole Tunsil scandal simmered down they seemed to STFU for the most part.

To them we were has beens. To us, they were never will be's.

But I'll say this... It was important for both OM and Mizzou that UT stay down. OM has benefited greatly from cherry picking Memphis and West, TN recruits while the Vols were down and Mizzou was hoping to pull from there too (and yes, I know Memphis hasn't always been kind to us; some high profile busts we've picked up over the years, *but* we're talking Memphis and the whole of West, TN and we've also gotten some great players from there. Mizzou, OTOH, is a divisional foe trying to find their place and we've also picked up ballers there). A down UT is good for both.

To add fuel to the fire has been Shaft's burning hatred for OM along with a few other Vol posters. Mizzou is less explainable. They're usually good people but they got a bee in their bonnet for us in terms of this season.

But yeah, the irony isn't missed. We still have to take care of MIZ though and on any given Saturday even the underdog can win.

I will not stop until they start pron bombing themselves off the board to avoid the pain.

They are the worst fanbase on tRant and they deserve to suffer

Sometimes they can be and I'm not criticizing you at all on the issue. Do your thang (we're individuals tho we come together on important stuff like our beloved Vols). OM in some ways reminds me of UF without the accomplishments. Both schools have some good posters and both are 'new money' in that their success is relatively new compared to others.

They are sofa king easy to rustle otb lol. My favorite go-to is mentioning the best Manning of them all played at Tennessee. That's always an automatic roll up

The truth is always the most painful for Ole Miss.

Peyton is the best Manning.

Never won their division. Mississippi State has though.

Never won ten regular season games.

Haven't done shite since integration.

3-4 second to last in the west.
