As much as Dobbs ran the ball tonight why don't we give Dormady a chance. Sure playing Dormady runs the risk of more sacks but its not like Dobbs was running for his life tonight. The OL has improved from last year. Dormady actually can make the passes and we can still use Dobbs on run plays because we have so many options wether it is Hurd, Dobbs or someone on the jet sweep. Dormady is also more mobile than Worley. JMO I doubt it happens.

I totally agree. We are completely one dimensional and predictable. Regardless of Dobbs' overall stat or yard totals we have to shake it up and be able to have a steady passing threat. He just can't make even the shorter throws consistently (but mostly anything outside the numbers and over 10 yards), and the coaches don't seem to have any faith in the guy to let it fly.

It's 2 & 13 and we run a gimmicky trick play. What does it tell you that on that crucial drive, in an obvious passing situation our coaches would rather let our WR throw it downfield than our actual QB? That tells me all I need to know.

Backup QB always the most popular guy.

We have a lot more problems than just QB.

I would suggest giving dormady the chance to play against uk vu mizzou. Those teams don't have the ad talented of DL as bama and UGA have. We might want Dobbs for bama given that he might be running for his life the whole game.

Like our secondary sucking. Our defense being anemic without Maggitt - even Cam not locking his side down. The hole at MLB that is still there but getting better (Kirkland is improving). The injury to Phillips. Who's number 3 for that spot?

Our offensive line still not quite able to protect Dobbs long enough although they're doing much better than last year. WRs not named Josh Smith or Preston Williams unable to get open (Despite his fumble, Preston is going to beast when it clicks - kid fights for balls). Malone giving up on plays as soon as he's sneezed at. Pig, Quez, and Croom all out.

The line is still too weak for an up the gut run. No surprise given both starting gaurds are out. Kendrick is subpar at tackle though thankfully better than CT was last year.

When the line does give Dobbs time where are the WRs? Either dropping balls they should catch or unable to get separation.

On defense... the wonder twins are coming along well but they are still making freshmen mistakes (although that's getting better with more reps). The injury to Gaulden fricked things up badly and then Maggitt's injury has turned a good D into a mediocre one. We still need a leader there.

QB is a pretty low priority right now when it comes to the problems we need to find fixes to. Besides, I'm fairly sure it would become crystal clear just how bad this oline is if we put Dormady in.
