Josh Dobbs is the toughest QB we ever had

He never slides. Has taken some incredibly hard shots. Been flipped in the air like a rag doll.
I don't ever remember the guy so much as being shaken up on a play, much less have to leave the field.
The guy is tough as nails.

Not to discount his toughness but as much as it seems to pain some of our fanbase to admit for some reason, Casey Clausen was tough as nails as well

Not a knock on Dobbs at all, but in my lifetime it was Casey Clausen. Tough as hell and cool under pressure.

I don't think anyone other than Worley has taken the abuse that Dobbs has taken with that porous OL. Iceman was great too but Dobbs is just a different kinda dude (ironically they're tied right now in the record books). Glad they're both Vols and since we're making the comparison - both are Gata slayas. :D
Hard to imagine but Dobbs would've been even better with a better supporting cast, particularly our OL.
