Rumor has it that the girl has dropped the charges against him so he has to meet with Judicial Affairs to determine his status. If the charges have been dropped then I don't really see a scenario in which he doesn't rejoin the team.

What is the timing on the j-board hearing? Can they do that in the summer or do they have to wait for classes to start?

I think it's happening tomorrow. The overall feel is that he'll be there for the 1st day of practice.

I agree, but I think that it's been happening gradually and they're trying to just finish it up before fall. It is pretty crazy timing though.

Awesome news. I feel like UT would've been alright without him, but he brings play-making ability, experience, and depth at WR.

Im sure there was a process to it. I didn't mean to sound like a bunch of serious shite happened and this dude got off with no punishment. I mean, we are cheating but I don't think we are cheating that dirty. Our WR group looks much better with Pearson.

Nice. There's no question we have some talented guys out wide, but I don't think anyone has the skill set Pearson brings to the unit.

The NCAA Clearinghouse red-flagged Williams' ACT score after a significant jump. His date to retake is expected to be set within 2 weeks.

Worst case scenario, red shirt him. He likely wasn't going to get a huge chunk of playing time this year coming off the ACL injury and upper classmen in front of him anyways.

DNA tests came back negative. VP cleared of all charges today. 
There's a few guys on various sites saying he will be back with the team fairly shortly.
