I don't agree with him on firing Butch if only because of the turnover, buyouts, recruiting, negative image, etc.
But as far as coaching, I agree with Jed in that a coach that loses to South Alabama is never going to win anything of merit in the SEC. For now I will hold my breath until Vandy/Kentucky.

Well, Saban did lose to UAB in his first year at LSU. Saban also lost to ULM in his first year at Bama

Saban also beat #7 Michigan in his first year at MSU, #11 UT/#13 Miss State/#15 Ga Tech in his first year at LSU, and #16 Arkansas/#20 UT in his first year at Bama.
Those kind of victories give some sort of hope. Hopefully Butch can pull out a key win at some point this year too.

I can't believe people bailing on Butch right now, if he holds this recruiting class together and does close to it next year then he will have the players he needs and thing will get much better. Dooley left shite barren.
