Based on some information I was given today about Gruden’s interactions last week when he was in town, I can now say with 100% certainty that he has told people close to him that he expects to be Tennessee’s coach next season.

Understandable. And I obviously have not spoken to him directly, but I did speak to someone who spoke to him last Sunday.

I'm certainly not doubting you or even your info. I just don't have the most confidence in our administration and I seem to remember other teams being 'close' to hiring Gruden in the past.
Maybe it was just too painful to get my hopes up last time only to find out we hired Butch Jones.
