Does anyone know if the SEC can review an in game call post game. The targeting call was horeshit and I was hoping the SEC could over turn the call now to lift his suspension for the first of half of the SC game.

Idk if they can or not but they should be able to, such a terrible call. I can't figure out if I'm more angry they didn't overturn it or that it was so obvious they waited to see that the guy was hurt to throw the flag in the first place

It was chicken shite all the way around. It's really unnerving to me they reviewed it and still upheld the call. I don't have a problem airing on the side of caution intetially and throwing the flag on the field, but there has to be better measures in place getting the call right upon review.

That's beyond fricking retarded, what rational could there possibly be for it not to be able to be reviewed by the option? Like what does it cost us?

I mean, I can understand the refs on the field calling it. That's the safest thing as it can then be reviewed and game speed can make things look differently as can where the ref is standing. However, I don't understand how that stood. It's not even close when you get a good look at it.
I still can't believe they called that after seeing the replay.

I would agree with you that I can completely understand throwing the flag in the first place if it wasn't for the fact that it was blatantly obvious that the ref didn't throw the flag til the guy was slow to get up
