A scenario that came to my mind

I thought of this scenario tonight and it's honestly kind of scaring me, especially if it happens because we absolutely HAVE to get this next hire right.
Okay so say Butch isn't fired this week and he coaches the South Carolina game, the team looks bad and unprepared again and we lose by 2 touchdowns. Currie decides that enough is enough and fires Butch on Sunday after the game. Between Larry Scott/Bob Shoop/Brady Hoke one of the 3 is named interim HC. We lose to Alabama as expected, but then we pull off wins against Kentucky, Southern Miss and Missouri, we beat LSU in a close game and beat Vandy so the interim coach goes 5-1. I'm afraid with how incompetent this Athletic Department as shown to be that they'd just say frick it and make the interim HC the permanent HC

Some legit groundswell seems to be building for Fulmer to get the interim gig.
Those with should subscriptions should read between the lines at VQ this week.

If we have an interim at some point I would love for it to be Fulmer though I'm not sure how interested in it he'd be
It was a shame we had to part with him the way we did and even though he won that last game and got his moment I'd love for him to be able to coach from the sideline one last time and it not be ending in such uncomfortable fashion

Fuller would be a terrible idea unless he's going to be hands off of the offense and defense. I would roll with Hoke since he's been a head coach before.

My vote would be Hoke or Shoop. No to Fulmer; and I'd prefer not making a move like LSU by promoting a coordinator.
