Who is it going to be? Dormady? Jarrett Guarantano? Sheriron Jones? Someone else?

My guess is Guarantano, perhaps after a game or two. From what volfan said he has some accuracy issues, but I have to think it cant be that bad compared to Dobbs (love Dobbs).

I have said it before: Dormady is a bad fit for the offense and we know Butch will not tailor it since we all watched Justin Worley run a fricking read-option.

That is why Jones needs to go back to the MAC.

Agree with all of this. Butch will probably trot Dormady out for the first couple of games if the fall QB competition is close at all imo. Dormady will be getting decleated and our running game will suffer due to a read/no read option that allows opposing defenses to tee off on MCBM and Chandler.

Geronimo will be inserted into the lineup and suddenly, everything will open up, similar to the back half of the 2014 season when Dobbs finally took over

Agree with pretty much everyone in here, it'll be Dormady for a game or two (knowing butch, longer). We will be screaming bloody murder and he will finally make the Change to G (not even gonna try to spell it)

So if a young man was an elite 5 star QB he would know right off, or someone could coach him up – Committing to a Butch Jones coached team would simply be a non-starter unless your style matched Jones’ style.

Which will take the bulk of the talent off the table.

And Jalen Hurd was sent ‘once more unto a breach’ he wasn’t suited for and finally got fed up with it.

Guarantano is the best fit. He's basically a clone of Dobbs, except a better passer. But I fully expect Butch to trout out Dormady against GT

Guarantano from game one.

The threat of a transfer from Dormady is the only wild card here.

VOLS will be in deep trouble if Jones is the backup.
