Louisiana is one of the most talent-rich states in the country and LSU has to compete with nobody in-state for it.

Please stop bitching. Your biggest advantage is one that literally no one else in the SEC shares. Be happy about that and stop pretending all things are equal.

Also, what are you guys hearing about that one recruit? The one we were discussing earlier.

there's a state just north of them that's competing pretty hard for the top prospect in their state.

I guess so...I mean if we signed every 4-star 6 ft 180 lb athlete (e.g Clyde Chriss, Shy Carter) we would technically be tanked top 5 every year but not meet our needs. We do have a natural advantage but in order to meet all of our needs we need to be able to pull from Tx, Fl, Ga, Ms etc. Not enough linebackers and offensive linemen in this state.

Can we stop acting like LSU doesn't have to fight off schools for Louisiana recruits? Every conference in the country recruits Louisiana.

Wow really??? You really think going against an out of state school like Texas AnM is equal to recruiting against a instate rival?
