It's a slow day...word is he visited FSU

FSU won't be a factor. The hats on the table will be LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss and Arkansas, and he'll pick LSU.

We're likely losing Collins and Williams this year, so he could start from day 1 behind the biggest OL in football.

I think our O-line weighed in at the third-biggest in football. Plus, our running backs suck so he could start for us, too.

LOL, i think he could start for a lot of teams

I wonder if White reads this site.
If so, White you would for sure start at LSU.
as a MLB

At MLB After Beckwith? None at all.
I've felt White gets moved to MLB where ever he ends up.
At RB in 2016 LSU will have
Fournette *****
Williams ****
Guice *****
Brousette *****
Jackson ***** - He's listed as an athlete, but has been getting snaps on offense, defense, and special teams. So I could see him being used on a jet sweep

Well yea, he's a lsu lock.
If a guy like him were to sign with Arkansas he'd be a running back

There must be something going on with White to Arkansas because he dropped out of the top 100 and is now listed as a Fullback on Rivals
You can't make this shite up
He's still going to be a great player wherever he ends up IMO

Rivals updated rankings are hilarious for the most part.
If they said they didnt scout Louisiana at all you'd believe them.
Glen Logan the top player in the state, and at #67?
Rashard Lawrence not a Top 100 player?
Drake Davis almost a 5-star?
Shea Patterson #1 overall player?
At least they dropped Willie Allen out of their Top 100. I wonder how much Ole Miss is paying them for some of these rankings though.

This is kindof where it started for us Briston Guidry out of the Top 100 and no longer ranked, but still a 4*.
He's #9 or so in LA...Regardless, he can play.

Devin White now outweighs our starting nose tackle. I just don't see him being productive at either RB or LB anymore. I loved him at 240. 260 just seems way to big. I still hope we can get him though just for the potential. I'm just not excited about it anymore.

Shea Patterson is ranked in the top 4 on pretty much every recruiting site, so not sure why you would question him at #1. He chose Ole Miss instead of LSU, get over it. You still have a great qb coming in this year. And if people were predicting Drake Davis to LSU, something tells me you would be complaining about him not already having a 5th star

Your starting nose tackle weighs less than 260? Jesus y'all are fricked.

He was running 4.4's and 4.5's this summer at 260, he can easily be successful at RB or LB @ 260lbs running those kind of times.

The #1 overall player is usually a big time NFL type prospect, where Shea doesnt fit that mold at all. He's about 6'1, 190 and doesnt have a big arm. His accuracy and intangibles are GREAT but the #1 overall prospect always has EVERYTHING not just great at some things. The sites have always championed they use NFL prospectus as a big part of how they rank guys towards the top, i.e. they see those guys as big time NFL prospects in just 3 seasons of CFB.
Shea is a great player he just doesnt fit that #1 overall player mold. Rashan Gary certainly does fit that mold. Shea just doesn't.
This has nothing to do with who is choosing where, just pointing out the fallacy rivals is using putting Shea at #1 overall yet championing NFL prospectus as a major reason for ever putting someone there. Shea would do great anywhere and should have a great career at Ole Miss.
As far as Drake Davis goes, it's a joke here's nearly a 5-star on Rivals, no one else I've seen has him anywhere close to where he is on rivals.
Scout - #194 overall
247 - #180 overall
ESPN - not even sure of national rank, #75 WR though
Davis is ranked solely on his athletic ability, because the dude has trouble just catching a football, and has no clue how to run routes. Not to mention is so dedicated to football he quit it last year to "focus on soccer". There is no reason Davis should be anywhere near a 5-star. I have no idea where rivals is justifying that. At LSU's camp just a bit ago his athleticism looked great but still was dropping balls left and right.
