The speculation has been that Springhill (La.) North Webster 4-star running back Devin White would visit Arkansas on Thursday. The rumor even existed early today he would spend four days in Fayetteville.
However, according to a source very close to White, he's not visiting Arkansas this week now. There is no indication why the change of plans, but it now appears White won't be taking his visit. A source indicated last Friday that White was down to Arkansas and Alabama though White hasn't indicated that. LSU, for one, feels they are still in it and the majority feel they are the leaders.

He very well may have said he was coming to LSU, I have no idea. Whatever he said has our staff confident that we'll get him. If that puts us in the lead now or just in his top two or three, who knows. Our staff just likes where we are with him.
I just don't believe in silent commits.

“I think Ole Miss has the best pitch you could throw at a recruit,” White said. “Your best friend (Patterson) is going to be there. I have a good relationship with coach Shawn Patterson as well and I like that coach Hugh Freeze’s program is all about family. They’ve already said I can play either side of the ball, it’s basically on me.”

I'm still not seeing this lie.
Jared was probably just busy this weekend, so Devin postponed the visit. No biggie.

My post had nothing to do with his visit being cancelled, it was part of an ongoing conversation I was having with hawgfan.

Because this kid's look at me attitude is kinda getting old to everyone involved, and I say that still believing LSU is his leader. It's his perrogative to handle his recruitment how he wants, but typically kids who make this much noise on the trail end up not backing it up on the field.

Wasn't it an interview? It's not like he randomly tweeted all this shite for attention. He said something good about each school. I think he'll end up at Arkansas after reading that.

Thought the post was referring to 'drama' like some recruits in the past (who was it that announced at the NFL Hall of Fame?). Haven't seen that kind of drama (noise) out of Devin is all I was saying.
