My bad counting pro bowls as all pro. Admitably wrong on webster i thought he had made the pro bowl year before the 2nd super bowl. Regardless thats 4 pro bowlers in recent memory in the defensive backfield with Adams soon to be a 5th in my opinion.

Reid, Tyrann and peterson still have a lot of football left to play in their careers so when you say Reid and Tyrann have only made one pro bowl its not that bad considering their youth.

I'm not giving you shite, I was just pointing it out.

And just FYI, Alabama had two DBs make the Pro Bowl this past year.

Landon Collins was 1st Team All-Pro and Ha-Ha Clinton Dix was 2nd Team All-Pro.

Do you really believe bama db's have as much success as lsu db's in the league and college?

Other than Patrick Peterson?

Absolutely.

But you're welcome to try to prove me wrong with actual data and not opinions.

Mathieu was a Heisman finalist. Who would you say Bama has had that you'd compare to him? Javier Arenas?

Still only one guy. Just because Julio Jones played at Alabama doesn't mean Alabama has the best WR corps in SEC history.

And in 5 years we may be saying Landon Collins is arguably the best DB in SEC history if he keeps it up.

Has the second most punt returns for TD in NCAAFB history.

He also wasn't a dirtbag who got kicked out of college.

Yet wasn't as good as Mathieu. Particularly as a DB. Patiently awaiting an actual refute.

If you're going to troll, at least do better than that. Right now you're just exposing the truth. I'm genuinely curious as to this discussion. Awaiting your responses and I will counter.

Not if Peterson keeps it up.

If Tyrann stays healthy you may be saying the same about him in 5 years and he only played two years in the SEC

Mathieu has already earned his keep. Collins has as well. To say Collins is on pace to surpass either Peterson right now is just homerism. He's had one season. Plus, his college career as a DB doesn't come close to Peterson.

You're right. No one knows how things will look in 5 years.

I didn't say that. I said if he keeps up his current pace we COULD be saying he is the best DB to come out of the SEC.

Well he was playing behind the 2nd best Safety in the NFL his Freshman year. He was young and hadn't overtaken HCD like he has now. He still got a ring though.

Team stats. Were we not discussing individual players?

Pass rush, DL, linebackers etc all play into those statistics. If anything, considering how much more overall talent Bama has in all positions, that makes LSUs pass D stats all the more impressive. Doing more with less.

You still haven't concluded anything as to your original point either. You're veering away from it with each post; which is understandable.

Sure. We can compare that too. Alabama had two All-Pro DBs this past season. How many did LSU have? Zero.

Alabama also had a first team AP All-American at Safety. LSU didn't.

My original point still stands. Saying LSU develops DBs better than Alabama is laughable. The stats, and awards, don't lie.

Kansas boasts the two best cornerbacks in the game; Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr. People tend to overlook them because Chris Harris Jr went undrafted and they both play on the same team.
