Decommits from Cal after visit to TN this weekend.
Big possibility he commits to TN in the next 48 hours.
Composite top 150 player I think on 247.
Would be a nice get to go with Mays and Taylor as a start to our O class.

#32 overall player on ESPN and #3 QB in the country.
#173 overall player on 247 composite and #7 DT QB.
Martinez would be a huge pick up. Perfect fit for this offense and the last upper tier QB in this class that we are in on. Hopefully he pulls the trigger soon. Him and Penix would make a really solid QB class.

Looks like he picked up an Oklahoma and UNC offer too. We had our QB coach out their with him and his family this weekend coming off of his visit to Knoxville and it sounds like he still plans on making his decision over the next week or two.
My old HS (Liberty HS in Bakersfield) used to play against Martinez's (Clovis-West out of Fresno) so that's kind of cool for me as I'm some what familiar with his high school program. Whoever lands his services will be getting a good one.

Pretty brash statement. He flew out with his dad on their own dime to UT's Spring game last weekend and then decomitted from CAL shortly after. Tennessee's QB coach then flew out and spent time with him this weekend. His twitter has been very pro Tennessee including interacting with UT's QB coach today while I haven't seen a single thing about Oregon. Willie Taggart is a far cry from Chip Kelly's Oregon. I like our chances

I guess were making a run at Casey Thompson. In any case, I think we circle back to Martinez if we don't land Thompson even if he commits.
