Since he is a graduate transfer I do not believe he has any restrictions, much like Chris Black going to Missouri.

Grad transfer. Has to go somewhere that offers masters program not offered at Alabama.

That's assuming he does indeed transfer. The initial reports of him leaving have now been amended to say he is "weighing transferring."

That won't be a problem. Grad transfers are not transferring for a particular grad program...
