Exactly, Ed O is assembling the talent. Thus, nobody is worried.

L6U has always had talent, it's the head coach that's been holding them back.

Just saying your fans sure do get butthurt over a player you definitely would like to have on your roster going to lsu.

Alabama doesn't need WR help.

LSU has acquired lots of talent at WR. Just a matter of grooming a QB who can put all that talent to good use.

This is the only thing that really matters. We could have, Randy Moss, Lynn Swann, Jerry Rice and oh lets through in Michael Irvin. If we don't find a QB, it won't matter.

With all that being said, this is a hell of a pick up for 2018 season. Kid is flat out good

You are the idiot making assumptions in this thread.

Maybe not, but that doesn't change the fact that giles would go to bama and start on your team day 1. He was a belitnikoff semifinalist as a sophmore. He was a top 5 wr in the pass happy big12 despite starting in only 7 games. He could have transferred to any school he wanted to go to. He is one of the best wr in cfb last year as a sophmore. I'm pretty damn sure any team in the nation would WANT giles, even if they didn't necessarily NEED him. Stop hating. Ed O Is making huge acquisitions this offseason and yall mfers are hating on him and LSU bc you would have liked to have them. So stop fricking hating on LSU and give credit where it's due. It's ridiculous.

You sure seem worried by the way you come into an lsu recruiting thread trying to downplay a huge addition to the LSU football team at a spot of need. You are very worried and jealous, if you werent, you would give props to LSU and coach O for the job they've done, not only in recruiting this last class, but in transfers as well this offseason. Fehoko and giles could go play for any team in the nation...including bama. They chose to come to LSU because of coach O and our potential under him and our coordinators. I guarantee you if alabama had landed either one of these guys it would be all you would hear about this offseason. ED orgeron is assembling an extremely talented football team for the next few years. You should be worried, i get it, but dont hate just because youre worried. Bottom line is that either of these guys coach O stole from ttu would go to bama and play immediately, if you say otherwise you're kidding yourself. Yeah, but you arent worried, i forgot. Clown.

First, he can't since he's a transfer and has to sit a year. Second, Alabama is pretty damn loaded at WR. But he would be a nice compliment to Calvin Ridley.

But it isn't a given Giles will even start at LSU in 2018. Isn't he leaving Texas Tech because of being demoted?

Hard to tell what reasoning they had behind Giles last season. He did not start game 1, but started games 2 & 3. Did not start games 4 & 5, but started games 6-10. Then did not start games 11 and 12.

It's a mystery what exactly was even going on here. Maybe he was the #2 slot receiver and some games they started 3 WR instead of 4 which is why he sporadically had a "start" and didn't. At any rate, he led the team in receiving yards by a good bit and in receiving TDs crushed everyone, so Mahomes certainly liked him quite a lot.

Giles is a slot receiver all the way and that's where he'll definitely start at LSU in 2018. Slot WRs isn't something Miles even really bothered to recruit much here because definitely towards the end he wanted big bodied outside WRs who could block because he wanted to run the ball (take a look at our 2016 and 2017 recruiting classes at WR) and we normally were in 1 and 2 WR sets anyways with no slot receivers on the field. The only other slot WR we will have on the team in 2018 (as of right now) is Derrick Dillion who basically hasn't played his first 2 years here. Under Canada will we have 3 WRs out on the field way way more often than we have before, so I would be surprised if Giles isn't starting here.
