With A&M surprising in the SEC and Manziel looking like a shoe in for the Heisman I'm afraid they are going to be a very tough adversary in recruiting for LSU. What HS player isn't going to want to play with Johnny Football for the next three years? Ironicallly its Miles that is going to have to figure out how to protect Louisiana against Sumlin.

All you LSU fans that are scared blow my mind. We've been playing and recruiting at a high level for over a decade. Come on with it.

A&M can sell Johnny Football and the SEC to top talent in Texas. This is something that OU and UT can't match.

California (1)Florida (2)Georgia (2)Illinois (1)Louisiana (12)Mississippi (2)North Carolina (2)Nebraska (1)Tennessee (1)Virginia (1)

How many of these Texas commits will we lose to A&M? Oh, wait....

I don't see A&M stealing any LA recruits until y'all start to drop off, which I dont see happening anytime soon.

Willing to bet we take at least one LA kid in 2014 with an LSU offer. Going forward, they'll get some from TX and we'll get some from LA just like in the old days (Harvey Williams, Bucky Richardson). Kids pick schools for different reasons and state boundaries are not hard stops.

you'll get mainly (if not all) leftovers as always. We'll get actual guys you wanted out of Texas.

you just keep on wishing with all your might. It's really amusing to watch people delude themselves and try their might to convince others of their own delusion. But I'm certain if you just repeat stuff enough and wish it hard enough all your dreams will come true

Louisiana is not some mystical place that people can't leave. Just as Texas or any other state isn't. Free will and all.

so, whats it looking like for 2014 with all of this delusion?

You hope you might get Trey Quinn (and won't fyi) and we lead for Ed Paris, Tony Brown, Brandon Simmons, and have a good shot at others like Cameron Hampton.

when does the aTm pipeline start? 2015?

you have a long thread on TD saying you lead for Nick Harvey. How'd that work out? 2014 is a long way off. Some will commit now. Some will commit later. Before thumping your chest about who you lead for, let's let it play out. But the Sabine is not going to be a cutoff point for either of our recruiting. Period.

oh so you're getting Ed Paris, Tony Brown, and LA kids now because you got a 5'9 CB who said LSU was his leader in July. Got it.

Trey Quinn loves him some A&M, and particularly loves our QB.

He'll probably end up a Tiger--if for nothing else than the coercive pressure applied by his community--but you're kidding yourself if you think there's no fight ahead.

But for coercion, Quinn's an Ag--which is obviously the best route for his future.

What's his height have to do with it?

Oh wait, was that a subliminal jab, there? Was that an attempt to trivialize Harvey--the undisputed best athlete in the state?

Noyce. Let's all pretend Les wasn't fapping to his film.

Quinn is as much of a LSU lock as u can get. Him and his parents have been life long Tiger fans.

Yes. This is the only reason a kid from Louisiana would choose to go to LSU. My God you are delusional.
