I think the Cece issue had to do with the DLine coach. Mac I believe wanted Rumph to begin with, but with Feb coming up Rumph wanted to stay at UTexas until signing day.

Mac hired that dude I can't even remember, Williams or something temporarily? Then we later got Rumph, which Cece knew about.

Also, it appeared from the outside looking in Cecce's dad was looking to get a little somethin somethin out of the whole deal as well. All that to say I don't really think Mac "fricked up" getting him.

I'm in no rush to say whether or not Mac is a great recruiter or not at this point. Gotta let things play out till next Feb. Recruiting is something you really have to look back on. There are busts, arrests, head cases, diamonds in the rough, injuries etc.

Let's all meet back in a couple of years and then discuss whether or not Mac sucks. To do otherwise is a monumental waste of time. Like arguing over who will win a football game before it happens. No one can actually win that one, but they damn sure try.
