Yeah, this isn't a good sign for A&M and Sumlin at all.
WR coach cost them Netherly tonight. He may end up working things out, but those were some really stupid comments from Moorehead.

Well yeah. They were correct. It was stupid to say them on social media when your recruits are following you.

I get the feeling Moorehead was trying to get out in front Netherly's decommitment with the initial subtweet to build some public support, but Tate's decommit came at a terrible time, making Moorehead's tweet look like it was directed at Tate and giving Mannie the perfect excuse to decommit without consequence.
Just terrible luck compounding a questionable choice, really.

Aggy chancellor is trying to turn Aggy into a diploma mill so they can brag about being bigger, but their student-teacher ratio is atrocious and their academic ranking is suffering.
But today... (I think it was today)... aggy chancellor finds out that his strategy of "more students = more state funding" backfired when the extra state funding didn't keep up with inflation and enrollment growth.
Almost 7,000 non-renewals of aggy football season tickets, too.
Dumpster fire, indeed.
And a half-billion-plus dollars in debt.
