I don't understand why LSU doesn't throw their hat in the ring. They need a QB as bad as AU and UF do.

On a side note, Sumlin is an idiot.

They don't even have an offensive coordinator. What do they have to sell? Yaw yaw?

We'll see. Agree Stidham is a good player, but keeping Mond happy and establishing an IMG pipeline may be more important.

IMG pipeline

IMG has so many good players that you're not really going to develop a pipeline there, and if you did it would take more than one player.

While I agree it doesn't qualify as a pipeline, but we do have three kids verbaled from IMG this year. Do that more than one year and it's a pipeline.

McElwain and Nuss will visit Stidham at his home this week.

Stidham will also officially visit UF next weekend, his last visit before the dead period.

No one will ever build a IMG pipeline

You aren't even close to the first team to get 3 players from there in one year

Luke Stampini saying he doesn't think the UF visit is going to take place. Going to be down to AU vs Kendal Briles. I swear if LSU hires Briles and gets Stidham I am gonna be pissed

I think I read Orgeron doesn't plan to hire an OC until after the bowl game. If that's the case and Stidham is waiting on that, it would be too late.

May not announce till after the bowl game, but maybe already have him in place?

The media skewered him over the quarterback controversy this year and so did dumb arse fans.

It got so bad that announcers started putting the graphics up with two QBs that graduated and then transferred. ESPN even mentioned Kohl Stewart and he was a #1 draft pick to MLB.

I don't blame Sumlin for "slow playing" or avoiding the situation. He got skewered for Tate Martel this year and all they did was replace him with another 5* and a backup from TX.

Mond probably helped influenced several other 4* players to commit and here we have a dumbass Arky fan complaining that he hasn't jumped on yet another 5* QB.

We all know deep down and side that if A&M signs Mond and loses another QB, nobody is going to defend him and call it part of the "process".

Tigerpaw... care to rebutt anything I said as false? With what A&M went through with qb's a yr ago, you really think they want to take a chance on another quitter?

The only reason you aren't taking him is because once again Sumlin has made big promises to a freshman QB. Part of what got Mond to A&M was the "you are our only guy" pitch along with the "rah rah Texas" stuff. Then Mazzone wants Stidham but Sumlin won't recruit him because he doesn't wanna piss Mond off so they tip toe around the recruitment until finally Stidham sees ya'll are fricking with him. Has nothing to do with "red flags" or anything like that. It has to do with Sumlins poor QB management again

And also at you bumping this thread

What the hell are you babbling about?

The fact your staff may want to actually pass on Stidham to keep Mond just shows how clueless they are. Mond has trouble completing forward passes with elite talent all around him meanwhile Stidham is one of the more proven college QBs in the country already. The fact Sumlin is betting his job on a guy like Mond is just signing his own pink slip. Enjoy 7-5 next season.

If there's 1 thing Sumlin has proven, is he doesnt have a clue what to do with QBs. He's had how many STARTING QBs transfer away on him now? Had to go out last minute and get a grad transfer for this season otherwise that would have ended in more disaster because he lost both his starting QBs from 2015...good luck with that guy.
