Clemson doesn't deserve the success they've had. I hope they are taken back down to mediocrity soon.

Based on what? They have a charismatic HC, an offense that has seen OC change and yet continued to succeed, were led by an incredible QB and now are not really struggling in his absence, one of the best DCs in college football, have recruited elite talent along the defensive line... evidenced by the guys they continue to put into the league. Nothing about what they're doing is "not earned/deserved".

Prior to last year, I would have said that they were playing in a light conference overall, with it essentially coming down to FSU/CU for the ACC, but that wasn't the case last season for sure. Particularly difficult to point to with how down the SEC is currently. Many people are blowing it out of proportion a bit, but the reality is the middle teams have dropped out. Instead of 1-2 good teams, 2-3 additional decent teams. Right now we have Bama + 2 and then a metric shite ton of garbage.

They beat Bama last season and they took them to the wire the year before... that's significantly more than most teams can say.

Yeah, its pretty hard to hate on Daboo, though I still give it maximum effort

He was a Harbaugh level cringe fest every time he stepped in front of a camera for a while. but even seems to have toned that down a bit

He appears to be a model CEO head coach and clearly the players love him. All great news for SEC West teams here in a few yrs

Yeah...same here.

He is a salesman and acting like a goofball has helped sell his program to recruits. Now that he is getting elite talent and they are winning big games on a consistent bases...he doesn't have to act like he use too in front of a camera. Its actually a smart concept come to think of it.

Reasonable theory I guess. No need to act like Clark griswold on red bull once you have the hardware

Georgia obviously cheating - time to send in the crackpot NCAA investigative team to do an anal probe.

You know... the best part about it all is we have a coach that we don't have to worry about jumping to another school. He's home

I don’t think Bama is going to struggle on the recruiting trail. We can’t discount what winning the sec and make the playoffs have done for Uga. Most of these top guys. Fields,Salyer,Hill, and a few more in state kids said back in August that they wanted to see if Georgia was for real. If they can play against the top teams in the conference. That is what happened. We proved we could. Now making the playoffs for the first time has poured kerosene on the fire.

That and being able to rope off Georgia for the most part Kirby is just using the U practice of recruiting from the 80s

Y'all not losing much this year right? Looks like you're filling needs vs. loading up on best available this year. 25 hard cap changes things alot...
