He was pretty average when I saw him play this season. Competition is subpar as well in the Va private school league.

156/291 .536 2144 yds 164.9 yds/game 24 td 9 int 78 long 92 rating

Doesn't exactly scream #1 qb.

Actually ATM arm strength goes to Rettig. Accuracy is another story.

Not even close dude. Hackenberg has an elite arm. Rettig? Not so much.

He fell for O'Brien's "You could be the next Tom Brady" pitch.

You can't blame him for it though. Look at what O'Brien did with that no talent, soulless ginger McGloin in one season.

I'm happy with Bateman.

Just heard @Perroni247 say Hayden Rettig probably had the strongest arm of all of the #ArmyBowl quarterbacks, but has been erratic.

Well there you have it.

I take it you don't know that Hackenberg and Bateman, who both have stronger arms than Rettig, didn't play in the Army Bowl.

They played in the Under Armor Game.

Therefore, Perroni was correct in his assessment. Rettig had the strongest arm in the "Noodle Arm QB US Army All-American Bowl."
