Which I would do in a heartbeat if I was as talented as a top tier recruit as well. For Shea high school football isn't just a good memory with his best buds that he looks back on 10 years from now. For him highschool ball is gonna be an important step in an important decision he made that helped him get to the NFL potentially.
Any kid that is that good and isn't gonna make a move to better themselves is a dumbass.

Patterson has no ties to Louisiana nor to LSU. Move on! He will turn out to be more than likely a very good QB on a team that won't end up doing anything. Aka, Manning.
