Scout also has both Wilson and Chaisson trending to LSU.

If O lands Marvin, Gay, Chaission and Phillips then I'll take our Defensive haul over anyone else's in the country outside of maybe Ohio State.

I definitely see marvin wilson to lsu but idk about chaisson. I believe we have a chance but I think he signs with texas. I see lsu getting Willie gay and jacob phillips at linebacker as well. LSU will close this class out strong as usual. Coach o is doing serious work. Geaux tigers.

I know recruiting is fluid and info can change quickly but, for the most part, rivals national and regional guys have a lot of old or just bad info. They are clueless in a lot of ways on who the contenders are for kids.
In the Wilson segment they say OSU is the other top contender for Wilson with FSU as a darkhorse. LSU is only concerned with FSU and most other insiders hold the same sentiment.
That's just a small sample but there are many other examples out there.
They never mention LSU as a top contender for Patrick Surtain Jr and it's almost a certainty that LSU holds a huge lead for him by all accounts aside from Rivals guys. Not sure what to make of it.
