And people want to wonder why Kirby struggled a bit this year. Absolutely NO experienced depth from that decimated class. That travesty was bound to haunt UGA, and Kirby is doing a nice job of replenishing the roster so far in the 2017 class.

And yes, Texas A&M had it pretty rough as well.

While accurate in intent, not accurate in actual numbers.

-32 signees
-14, not 19
-Only Kohl Stewart didn't make it to campus
-The other 5 were injury retirements

Also, it's not over yet. It appears likely that at least two more (Victor Davis and James White) will transfer out before their senior years

I mean, injury retirement technically means they left the team. Not the best way to phrase it, but still correct numerically.

I'm glad we could have a competition for worst 2013 class. If it weren't for Leonard Floyd we would have joined y'all in the F category.

I forgot about a lot of the guys Auburn signed that year that were gone with haste. Elijah Daniel, Jovon, and Earnest Robinson didn't make it or transferred quick. We recruited a lot of star players that didn't do anything at auburn.

That said, holy shite UGA and A&M. What the shite?

Not sure if he even really counts. He and Atkins were 2012 signees that we placed at Hargrave and re-signed.

Injury retirement does not mean they left the team. Many assist as coaching assistants.

This is a bit of a semantic argument more than anything else though, wouldn't you say? They were recruited for their ability to contribute to the team on the field. If they're no longer playing, for the purposes of grading the class it is fair to say they are "no longer with the team". If you wanted to modify the statement you could say no longer with and/or contributing to the team on the field but I think the intent is clear in the initial statement. Either way, the point stands... I knew UGA had an awful result out of that class, just didn't know how bad it had been for A&M as well.

All of your classes for the past 30yrs combined has the same NCs as our 2013 class.

That was a solid class for LSU after a pretty weak one in 2012. Lacked the star power of 2014 though.

It was a combination of depth and poor coaching IMO
