You were just the most recent comment, calm your tits. Many other posters were implying such a scheme by doubting Perry's comments on wanting to be closer to his father.

I'm not saying it's not one factor...so is his dad as a Legacy...those are things that will show up in the paper...

You also have to understand AAU basketball and the game that is played around recruiting...To dismiss this is very naive.

I'm not suggesting State is paying him...

No, what many have implied is that his father's health wasn't the biggest factor. You don't have to believe he was paid to believe that. You are just picking the pay for play as some narrative you are creating for a majority of posters.

If we finish with those 2 guys we expect to finish with, we'll finish significantly higher in the rankings than Arkansas. Unless y'all add more commits. I honestly don't know how many y'all plan on taking this class.

Time will tell on the finish.
We will probably add one to take Perry's place (my speculation), but we won't just take 'a body.'
Plus, there's a chance of a highly rated point guard reclassifying and becoming a part of this class. Will have to check further and see where that stands, but it was being thrown around a while back.

You understand how corrupt some of the 'handlers' and shoe company money is getting then.

The pay for play thing is real, and Howland has been a dirty Frick everywhere he has been. I didn't see any Arkansas fans insinuating that though, I saw a first page filled with state fans on the defensive. Why are you guys so defensive? It's obvious his reason for decommitting was nonsense, so what made him switch? That middle aged bald white coach whispering sweet nothings in his ear? That stellar almost .500 record he has? Those amazing facilities? That unbelievable tradition? The incredible night life of Starkville? I'm going with the one and done success of the Bulldogs, but I could be wrong

Got any proof of him cheating? Maybe the kid just wanted to play at his dads school. He's a legacy. I see you conveniently left that off your list. It's not exactly hard for Howland to recruit. Just has to call up the NBA MVP and have him talk.

Actually, with the exception of the Rick Ray years, we've been able to get highly ranked players at State since the late 80's. With a coach that has a proven history, it's not hard to imagine, if you try. His dad was a great player and played here. I would think that carries some weight.

He's the one who gave a reason, and it turns out it was just bullshite. That's kind of what we're pointing out.

May be a great week to revisit Reggie Perry.

This was as plain as day. Clear example of adidas funneling a player to an adidas school

Don't think you'll have to worry about anyone from Arkansas showing you...NYC is where the focus should be.
