I know Bama has top class right now with I believe 25 and can they hold it? I mean you got Ohio with so many more recruits left on their board with I think 20 now and I would think they overtake everyone with the top spot this year with possibly one of the highest rated classes ever. Also does anyone know what the highest rated class signed is?

Recruiting sites have changed so much it's hard to compare the early days to what it is now. With that said some of the USC classes from about 05-08 were insane.

Bama's gonna finish on top they're going to sign a few more guys. They lead for

4* LaBryan Ryan
4* Henry Ruggs
4* Devonta Smith
4/5* Aubrey Solomon
4* Jarez Parks

they may sign

4* Phidarian Mathis
4* Todd Harris

Best classes ever are usually considered 08 Bama, 03 USCw and UF 06.

I was just looking at Ohio with 19 committed and Alabama with 24 both over 300 and separated by I think 3 points. I was thinking both had 1 more than they actually do but still both have really good classes and are already over 300 mark which is really amazing with more recruits to get.

You can probably put BAMA's numbers back to 22 with the final number sitting at 27, maybe 28. I say 22 because, it is looking more and more like Byers won't qualify and the Brannon kid counting as a "blueshirt."

Recruiting is so subjective tho. Can you really determine anything until Jr or Sr years?

Ohio St is taking a small class this year around 20-22. Bama will sign 28-30. Ohio St might have the best average star ranking, but Bama will have the number 1 class.

I think Bama's 14 class was one of the highest ranked classes ever.

I didn't realize Ohio was taking only 22 so yea that would most likely give tittle to Bama but still even with a smaller class and already breaking the 300 mark is very impressive to say the least.

This bama class is unreal so far on paper

Y'all think it's gonna be better than 14?
I say the only weakness is D/L is not at a bama level maybe secondary as well

I agree on DL but don't think the plan was to take many dbs this year due to last years class but DL is concerning

I think it depends on how the Mathis/Solomon recruitments shake out.

In terms of DB, we are pretty solid at safety with McKinney and Wright, but lacking at corner.

USC will close very strong. We just flipped Tui from Washington, and we're leading for Joseph Lewis, Jay Tufele, Pola mao, and several others.

I think y'all will prob add Mathis from things I have over heard being in the area, if not Solomon for some reason I think he goes elsewhere..

That's true I just know Saban loves the DB unit for obvious reasons, and couldn't imagine more resources going in that direction. I do like McKinney I think Ga had some of the top players this year out of the states
