As far as some of the top recruits that multiple sec schools are getting looks from, I wish one poster would create a thread using similar format to the game threads on the scoreboard for each recruit. All discussions relating to this recruit would then be condensed to one thread.

Just feel like it would lead to better discussion and would lead to funny threads at the end of the year to see the fanbases reactions as a players recruitment progressed.

Format could be:

Recruit Name | Position | Compisite 247 Stars | State

Could create a sticky thread with links titles "2015 Recruit Index"

I feel like this would clutter the board and a lot of posts would get moved back to the next page before a lot of people see them. I want to say we had something similar on the LSU recruiting board for our targets last year, except there was a link inside the stickied post. However if I remember right if we wanted to leave input, then our replies would be mixed with comments about other recruits ect. But I really like the idea of having a place for just one recruit.

Yeah we could have a sticky thread with links to each recruit. That would help folks keep track

LINK

TD has something like this. It's just another page with all info on individual recruits.

I like that concept but I almost think it's too fancy, for lack of a better word.

If we literally had a sticky thread that linked to individual recruit threads, I think the system would work.

The way it is now, there are usually multiple threads about a single recruit, especially if multiple schools are getting looks. I just would like that to be condensed to one thread with a clear title similar to the scoreboard threads.

A poster who follows one of the schools the recruit is considering can create the thread and then post the link to his thread in the sticky thread for a mod t copy/past at a later date.

I just think it will create better discussion during the recruitment and funny results after a recruit commits.

So that way we could go to an individual thread for each recruit to watch others sling shite at each other?

IMO, it would be a lot of work to maintain and you would still end up with people posting new threads. Interesting thought though - if it worked and everyone stuck to it it would be very helpful.

IIRC this same idea got shot down by the admins when this board opened because they just turned in to IM threads.

Oh, there's no D in their email. That's why they always ignore my email request for access to the porn board.
