Recruit visits A&M, A&M reporter writes fake interview with him

The recruiting board frowns on trolling, and your thread title is trolling.

The truth will come out, but it seems far more likely that the recruit did not realize that what he said would get back to UCLA, then it did, and he's trying to distance himself from his comments.

FWIW: Oluwole later tweeted something like, "All is well #gigem #12thman" He then deleted both tweets. It's hard to know what is happening. If you care for the truth, then you'll delete your thread title. But I realize that you don't care about the truth - you only care about trolling "Aggy"

It's not just trolling, it's stupid trolling. You should be banned not merely for trolling the recruiting board, but for doing such a terrible job of it.

First, he's already deleted the tweet. Wonder why?
Second, given merely the tweet, its impossible to know that "reporter writes fake interview." It might have been a confusion. It might (and this is by far the most likely scenario) that that kid got in trouble with the school to which he is committed and is trying to crawfish.

No it was TexAgs. One of their recruiting analysts... TexAgs has a douchey reputation (Liucci), but they also don't spew garbage, and they are very careful about the content they put out.

It's just not believable that he would have made the story up. Especially when other recruits that were there gave similar accounts of their experience at the game.

The logical explanation to me is that he thought some things were off the record and Jacob posted them with his opinion on it as well.

Hamm said he has recruits, especially committed ones, read the story before he posts it. Probably the first time I've actually respected Hamm.

The kid had a great visit, he didn't like the backlash from ucla staff/fans.

Well, you do have an agenda to protect your school and those associated with it. And you might very well be right, but you're creating a false binary about whether the recruit lied about the article and whether this tread is a troll. The two are mutually exclusive. Just because a recruit lied does not mean a troll based on his lie (especially because this isn't as cut and dry as you're trying to make it) is a troll.
