We wanted Voorhies really badly, so badly we threw the bank at him. But he was pure, firm. "I'm going to play safety at LSU, only for coach Les Miles, no matter how much money you offer me." So we moved on to Jamal Adams, Hootie Jones, and Trey Marshall.

I dont know why you're this upset over this. I simply pointed out Voorhies was a guy both OM and MSU offered and recruited in a thread where someone claimed he "didn't count."

No shite he wasn't a priority when he committed somewhere else 1.5 years before NSD and wasn't taking calls from anyone. Before that, you dont offer a kid before their junior season and pretend he's not towards the top of your board though. It's really that simple. Unless of course OM and MSU have taken a new recruiting tactic to offer rising juniors scholarships they dont want...because that's what you'd be arguing.

Or, now hear me out on this. I googled "Voohries LSU", then went to his rivals page. Then I looked at our class for that year, and recalled that we got the top two on Mullen's board for the class.
