It seems like Saban usually keeps a surprise in his pocket for NSD. This year seems to have been pretty much wrapped up for months. Is there no big splash for signing day? Or is it CeCe? I know nothing about his recruitment. It just seems he'd be the only possibility. What are the experts' thoughts on him? UF?

You have the #1 class. Sometimes I seriously don't understand Bama fans

Daylon Charlot? Not a boom, but more of what you get when you leave a bunch of air in your sandwich bag and stomp on it.

Bama's recruiting classes are more of a long drawn out boom. Think sustained fire rather than a quick unexpected burst.

Dude, I'll be quite happy with a boring #1 class.

I have a feeling there's a lot of things you don't understand.

I simply asked if there was a typical surprise still in store. Show me anywhere in my post where I said I wasn't very happy.

Our last couple of commits would have been very boom worthy if they happened today. I enjoy a nice and calm NSD. Apparently it allows them to spend all day on the phone with 2016 guys.

No, Alabama already has the #1 class. What more can you want?

An excellent analogy, though it does take much of the excitement of NSD away for Bama fans.

Plenty of booms for y'all this year. Just not today. That's a good thing.

The only "boom" that could happen today is a commitment from CeCe Jefferson.

Coach Saban has systematically eliminated the excitment of NSD for the fanbase.

But Lawdy - I have been throughly entertained by the back biting betwixt our SEC brethren these last few days.

Yep...and truthfully, I'm damned glad he has.
