I'd rather get MSU get him than UK.... MSU will still be a bottom half SEC team with Malik. If he wants to shoot the ball 40 times a game and lose then it's a great decision for him, cause neither of those things will happen at LSU or UK.
It's hard to argue that LSU doesn't have a ton of pieces on the perimeter. I'd take Kasongo over Malik at this point just cause it's a much bigger need than a 1 year combo guard.

LSU has a ton of guards, but I wouldn't choose Kasongo over Newman. Kasongo is of course athletic, but he's not THAT good. Haven't heard anything on his recruitment lately.
I love all this speculation on LSU being eliminated when Newman hasn't told shite to anyone. LSU went from the arguable favorite, then spending a week with Blakeney and Simmons Mcdonald's week, to being eliminated?
If I had to predict his choice, I'd go with State. However, that's only because it's the "trendy" pic. He's probably going there, but I'm not going to scoff at LSU's chances. I feel like Brandon Sampson would be on board by now if Newman told Jones we're out

Reason? Most State fans are impossible to reason with. Some of you have a level of delusion that exceeds Aggie Fans. I'm not talking about Malik in this instance.

I mis-worded that. I meant to say even though LSU has a ton of guards, I wouldn't choose Kasongo over. About to edit. Kasongo is a project, Newman isa first rounder. Even though LSU needs another post guy more than anything, you take your chances with another guard

The sad thing is, even if Newman goes to moo state they still have no chance at the tournament. Such a shitty school to be. Even when you do have a little bit of talent you still can't win anything with it.
