I'm not sure what we're gonna do about losing this guy. Probably the best lineman in the state. His talent will be sorely missed. Congrats OM, he should be an impact player this fall.

With his talent, it'll probably be more like 1,000x.. Just don't see players with his ability come out of the state very often, so of course it's a hot topic.

Looking over his profile and I get the feeling MSU and OM only offered because he's in-state and they offer the top 30 or 40 in-state players on the general principle that they need to keep the local kids home and preferably away from their in-state competitor. He had the 3 Mississippi schools (OM, MSU, Southern) on his list, with Memphis and La-La bringing up the rear.
OTOH, he's a top 1300 player who also had Bama on his list.
And, no, they didn't offer. I rather suspect nobody on the Bama staff has any idea who he is.
