He and Lavonte Valentine will be a nice "thunder & lighting" combo

This dude runs the ball hard everytime he touches the ball. He's hard to bring down and he's got a good combo of speed and power. I like this pickup. Has really good speed and his center of gravity is low. He's solid. He has nice field vision too, if you watch his highlights, he makes plays out of nothing alot of times. If he gets through the line and linebackers you aren't gonna catch him. I really like this running back in lsu offense.

Y'all seem to be taking a lot of 3-star kids extremely early.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but is Orgeron planning on having a full class by August 1st?

He said in an interview yesterday we are still his leader. It'll be interesting to see how many rb's we take this class.

Lol I think the staff just knows who they want and are going after them hard. We can take a lot in this class and in today's recruiting world decommitments are imminent.

The majority of the 3 stars have some pretty big offers and/or all american game/opening invites. Curry included (offer wise).
It's also supposed to be a big class (28-ish)

Curry is a SEC level RB recruit. He would be a higher rated recruit at a different school IMO.

I am very interested in seeing how y'all class finishes up. Right now the avg player rank is y'all's worst since 2010. However it's only June and there are still some big fish and I am sure some of these rankings will get a bump
FWIW I really like Curry. Just seems like an LSU RB. Good pickup

We can take close to 30 and our biggest studs are still out there to grab. I wouldn't be shocked if 3-4 of the guys we have now are moved up to 4 star eventually as well. We need RB's baaaaad in this class, so this is big pick up for us.

I'm not sure anyone knows the full answer to this, but didn't the NCAA try and make 25 the limit? that may not include early entrants etc but I remember that being in limbo. Is it for sure teams can still take over 25 if they can 'backdate' them?

Ed O will likely take a lot of early commits from players who he thinks can play at this level and drop them later to make room if he can land a bigger fish. He did this at Ole Miss.
I'm not saying Curry fits this profile, just noting O's tactics.
