It's really not. Not at all actually. Maybe in Mississippi it is.
For many larger high schools that are perennial football powers it's quite common.

It is actually not uncommon at all for a high school to produce 3 or more division 1 players like this. LSU got commitments from 3 kids from evangel christian in shreveport earlier in the 2018 class as well. There's alot of schools like that in louisana.

Surtain, you're almost guaranteed to get.
Chatfield I can see you getting *IF Miami doesn't offer. Not sure if we will, but if we do, I'd be he chooses Miami.
Campbell definitely has Miami leading right now, and he will be committing before the season starts. Its definitely down to Miami and LSU, but Miami definitely has a better chance of landing him. If yall get him, I'd be fricking pissed though. I think he will be better than Surtain personally. Him and Tyreke Johnson are the best DBs in Florida this year. Then Surtain and Jobe.

Out of these 3 commitments, only Anderson and Chatman are takes from P5 programs, let alone a Top football school.
That other kid has absolute shite offers. This is clearly a case of taking a kid not deserving of an offer because it will get you two other top recruits (Chatman is definitely a 4*). This kinda shite happens in recruiting all the time.
