PF Duop Reath
SG Branden Jenkins

Both were considering Texas and Virginia Tech before committing to LSU today. Definitely going to need some immediate impact guys like this for next year when it looks like we will lose 4-5 players off this year's team.

Reath is arguably the top F juco prospect and Jenkins is a scorer...not many folks feared Marcus Thornton before he showed up

Then why does the provided link show him as a three star with no other offers?

Because they don't look that much into juco players. Both were being recruited by Virginia tech and Oklahoma state. Texas was another team after Jenkins. They are not superstars but they fill needs so I'm happy.

Who cares what you think? We will see if they are fearsome when they get on court as tigers

They dont tend to care about JUCOs, both were being recruited by Texas and VT.

JUCO expert Brad Winton wrote, "Reath is arguably the top forward in the 2016 JC class and is extremely skilled for his size. He has the ability to score with his back to the basket in the low post and can also score from the perimeter. He has a smooth stroke with range that extends beyond the 3-point line. He can also attack the basket off the dribble against bigger/slower forwards."

Well that, and 24/7's basketball coverage is horrid. They only have one major analyst for the whole country, and so many players just don't have profiles at all.

Aren't you the one that's always bitching about trolling the recruiting board?

Where's Thornton at now? I remember him lighting us up in Starkville one time.

Houston and he started the other night. His size has hurt him in the league in terms of stability, but he can and always will be able to flat out score the ball.

It's not like I said that I hope the kids get thrown into prison, or that they are head cases who will never pan out, or that they suck. I simply stated the obvious. In terms of their offer list and their recruiting ranking, they are not the kind of commits who strike fear into the hearts of your conference rivals. I didn't mean it as a troll.
