I know Les sent him a message by not taking a RB in this years class which means he must be pretty confident I'm guessing. I gotta look at LSU's schedule

I know Memphis has said Brad Sylve's dad is an LSU fan every day except when they play Bama and Burns basically was the one who got him to come to Bama, I honestly think if Sylve went to LSU we wouldn't have had a snowball's chance on hell period, but it will be an interesting recruitment with Burns.as our RB coach and run game coordinator

That's what I meant Carter is a wrecking machine on D not gonna be surprised to see him jump over LF and LF is a VERY GOOD back don't get me wrong but it's a lot harder to stay that high as a RB and a lot easier to move up as a pass rusher

Is Bama still trying to persuade Cyril to play him at lb so they can recruit him at the jack?

That was a pretty fun false rumor lol

If we will sign 4 high rated RBs including Derrick Henry who's 6'3 245 and runs a low 4.5 and let him be a RB you can damn sure bet all we are recruiting LF at is RB

What RBs is Les also targeting or is it LF or bust? Bama will still get at least 2 pretty good in-state backs in this class

If LF does jump up to #1 and we miss on him and he goes to LSU (like we missed in the #1 RB Bryce Brown in 09) lol we signed Trent and that worked out better for us so I think we will be ok regardless, Bama has a much better shot with LF than we did with BB though lol

I'm not sure what other RBs we have a legit shot at. I dont think we've offered any other La guys but him and it's hard to get an idea how serious the blue chip OOS guys are at this point. We have a jr day this weekend, so maybe we'll know more. We'll prolly try to get 2 or 3 though.

Yeah y'all will need at least 2 in this class with LSU not getting a back this past class

Hill will likely leave early I'm guessing

Remember seeing his highlights was he born on La or somewhere else? His name sounds Samoan or Hawaiian

Devon Thomas

Transplant originally from La. If he comes to camp and is offered he'll probably flip from Okie State.

Gotta love some of those transplants Tyren Jones was a La transplant to Ga and Les didn't even recruit him and he grew up a HUGE LSU fan and had he stayed in La I think he might've been a 5* #1 RB etc he's pretty good and just 1 of the 4 Bama landed

Not nearly as fast as Yeldon and they have very similar running styles difference with Yeldon is better vision and more glide where LF can power his way through defenders and juke pretty violent cuts, Yeldon glides more and makes more guys miss but yeah from film I've seen and watching TJ play he is faster bit understand he has elite WR type speed he is a monster so the comparison is a compliment no doubt about it but they are pretty similar

2 reasons.

1) a kid named Fournette

2) we dont offer the 25 most talented kids we can find, we have needs that we address and RB wasn't one of them. LSU routinely turns away 4 star type talent to go after kids that play other positions.

Kid is legit. Why don't you see for yourself, don't take a message boards word for it.And of course the Bama tards will say the hype is not deserved because their not getting him, typical.

Quit making excuses for Les you should at the very least have 1 RB in each class ESPECIALLY in the SEC

Catering to a 2014 kid in 2013 class is ridiculous

I don't care how good he is it is the SEC and RB is by far the toughest position at least 1 should be signed in every class

Had LSU OFFERED Tyren he might've flipped and he is better than a good majority of RBs on LSUs roster except Hill

Then you would have 1 TS or RF on roster when LF comes and Hill likely departs.

I think after people see how good TJ will be as Bamas feature back this year they will be more apt to compare the two because the kid was pretty sick as a TF backup.
