Jason and Harris BOTH have LSU offers

Harris may have an offer, but LSU is stacked at DB and is in it for several more elite DBs for this class. Even if he made it in, he wouldn't see the field for 2 seasons.

Now to the topic at hand, who or what exactly is the connection on the Kansas staff to Louisiana?

Not hard to figure out. Come to Kansas and play immediately or go to LSU and sit behind other guys for a couple of years. They also have brand new player facilities to show off that they just completed back in August of last year.

Then why don't we see elite players heading to shite programs year after year?

They continue to go and sit at programs that recruit elite classes instead of going somewhere shitty just to get on the field early.

It's fishy to say the least.

Just saw a tweet that Kansas has NEVER signed a ESPN300 recruit. Ever...and now they have 3? All from LA?

Right. That's what I said in terms of the appeal KU is selling.

It's true that most elite players want to play with other elite players and they're more than willing to go ride the bench and wait their turn. Is that a good business decision? Or a bad one?

Not really. It depends on the kid you're recruiting and what his goals are. If you want to get to the NFL as quickly as you can, why would you go waste a couple of years sitting on the bench waiting your turn on a team stacked with other guys just like you? The sooner you play, the sooner you get to the NFL, which is what I suspect the kids they're landing are really after.

When you hire the former HS coach at Warren Easton who knows all the other HS coaches in the N.O. area and has immediate rapport with the players from that area, that kind of thing can happen overnight, and it is.

Mickey Joseph, NOLA will be locked up soon. He is well respected in the community and a legend in NOLA for not only what he did while in high school but for the aid he has provided after Hurricane Katrina. People love the Joseph family in NOLA

Maybe Orgeron and his staff should work on their communication skills.
Both of their QB signees decommitted before recommitting last signing class for the same reason. Plus the high school boycott stems from communication issues as well. I mean come on.

LSU just fired and demoted 2 of their ace recruiters. Not sure where Craig is going, but Juluke just went back to Texas Tech.

With the NOLA coaches also contemplating boycotting LSU; this could be an interesting year in recruiting within LA.
