"Alabama, Georgia, and Ole Miss are now the schools I am looking at. Florida State is out and I do not plan to visit them next weekend," Tunsil told Scout Sunday afternoon.

For months, Tunsil has listed Alabama and Georgia as his leaders, but is that still the case?

"Not really," he said. "All three schools are the same right now."

The other thread was anchored.

Why do people believe what recruits say in a public forum? This is the worst and least reliable info about recruiting to try to guess what the kid is thinking. Does anyone really believe Ole Miss & Bama are equal with UGA at this point?

I mean why not? He just spent the weekend in Oxford with all this other 5*s and had a great time.

Then he told scout they were even.

Is he a UG lean? Sure. But after the high and excitement of our visit maybe at this moment it's even.

I believe we made up a lot of ground this weekend. If he is still talking about us as a serious option at the end of the week, ill feel even better.

Its all about building the drama for NSD. Why come out and say- "Ole Miss is where I am going" or "Bama is it for me"; if that happened he would have no one hanging on his every word on ESPN on Feb 6th. By no means am I saying that he is a sure fire UGA signee, but all things considered, UGA fans should feel good about the prospect of him signing with UGA on NSD.

Couldnt agree more. Say what you will but, from my point of view, OM did a good job to get this guy and his family in for an OV. If he signs with UGA then I wish him the best.

From what I have read; Yes OM did a GREAT job this weekend. I just think that with UGA making him their top priority for over 2 years, it will be the difference in a week and a half.

Yeah man very well could be the difference for UGA. Whoever gets hims, he is a great player. While i agree he is a UGA hard lean, i do appreciate the fact that our new staff isnt reluctant to go after really good players that have good reasons to go elsewhere. Ya never know til ya try.

No one gives a frick if he tells everyone his leader right before NSD and then leaves one hat on the table. He's an 18 year old kid and wants the end of this fun process to be good and exciting for the fans that want him. I think Freeze did a great job just getting a hat on the table. Just too little, too late but I see him being a UGA lean with Bama a close 2nd. We'll just have to wait and find out on NSD.

Eddie Jackson left LSU this weekend saying he everyone is even, he will be committed to Alabama within 72 hrs, everything the recruits say in public is BS.
