Bama, I know y'all are looking for a kicker. Curious if y'all are now going after him.

I think Alabama is after Jake Lane from Montgomery after the Ruiz kid decommited.

I see Chris Sailer has Bulovas ranked #2 behind Ruiz. Lane is ranked #36.

Bama did offer according to our Rivals writer. Damn....Bama you are getting a good one assuming that it is no coincidence that he decommitted hours after getting a Bama offer. Bulovas was way better than Ruiz in the AA Army game.

Ugh....this sucks for us. He was one of my favorite recruits because we are losing our leading scorer in GT history is kicker Harrison Butker. Good kickers are such a good thing to have.

He is going to Bama. If Mstate was really in serious contention he eoukd have committed last week during his OV to Starkvegas. He only OVd to Mstate because his best friend went that weekend.

He has an in home visit with Mullen on Wednesday so we'll just have to wait and see. Our 24/7 guys seem very confident

And our Rivals guy was told Sunday by his parents they were sticking with GT. Then Bama offered. He decommited. Sorry but playing in Tuscaloosa>Atlanta>Starkville. There is literally zero upside in going to Miss State over GT or Bama.

His parents are good people. They wouldn't troll so something new must have happened like you suggest.

I saw him on some baseball recruiting sites as well, is there a possibility he plays both sports in college?

I doubt it. Guess it would depend on if it were a lower level school but doesn't sound like that is about to happen. Will have a better idea after seeing him play some this year.

I am not usually one to stick up for Tech, but this is blatant. You aren't going to win any hardware at either school, and Tech will give you a world class education. For a kicker, there isn't a single benefit for MSST that Tech can't match.

I would live in Starkville before Tuscaloosa or Atlanta. Tuscaloosa sucks and there is no way I could live in a big city.

So in this situation are you saying you're a Starkville native or you knocked up a trailer park girl and have to stay? Birmingham is 30-45 minutes from Tuscaloosa. Birmingham > any city in Mississippi outside of maybe Biloxi/Ocean Springs.

Doesn't GT have a better football history than Georgia? Historically speaking? I mean, I haven't researched it, I'm just going by what I was told.

Tuscaloosa doesn't have trailer parks? Who knew? 45mins from Birmingham, ok, you mean Memphis, but without the tourist attractions?
