Saw Sumlin this afternoon talking to sophomore, Michael Matus. Started on defense for the TX 6A football champs and won defensive MVP for the championship game.

So he's already put more effort into the 2018 class than the 2016 class?

That's what I was thinking. He was talking specifically to Matus, but there was a large group of boys preparing to throw the discus at practice. My son didn't recognize any other football standouts in the group.

I don't think he can go visit 2018 recruits.

I don't know if he can or can't. I'm only telling you what my son and I saw at approximately 3:35pm today.

They're notorious for having RBs who play major D1 football bust. Adam Taylor (Nebraska) Aundre Dean (UCLA/TCU) and Donnovon Young (Illinois) are the most recent ones in the last few years. Their backs play behind arguably the best OL in the state every year. I think Rodney Anderson breaks the trend at OU.

I don't know anything about Porter except that we were never interested or recruiting him

Well hopefully one of him or Whaley will pan out for us.

I'm not calling you a liar. I just just stating the rules (or as far as I understand them. I am no expert.)

Sumlin wont spend Christmas in College Station and he knows it.

Must have been a teacher he was paying a visit to.

Or recruiting for his new job.

He can screw over A&M and get a head start at the same time
