“I guess the best way to put it is he’s going to keep his options open,” Curry said of Allen. “That’s the best way to put it.

“It’s coming,” Curry said when asked if Allen will ask for his release from Florida.

"He's always had interest in Arkansas," he said. "Arkansas was always in his top three," adding again that the lure of working with Donovan was the driving factor in his decision to commit to Florida.

Damn if we get him to flip to go along with Whitt and Kapita (just a matter of time till he commits). This class is gonna be legit.

West reported last week on his radio hit that he's signing with Florida this week.

I've heard the Hogs aren't even actively recruiting him and haven't been because his commitment to Florida.

RD just said he's signing Thursday unless something changes.

Not so much because of that, but because of the staffs connection to Whitt, and us taking Whitt instead. Which is fine.

Allen went UF early, and we were on Whitt from years ago. It happens.

No, if Allen would decommit Mike would recruit him but he's not wasting time with him committed to UF.

Kapita is the one to watch to see if he chooses to sign in the early period. If he does we likely get him.

Obviously, I meant we went after Whitt knowing we could pretty easily get him with the connections, and I feel that we backed off on Allen because he committed so early to UF.

Just worked out we took a different high 4 star SG instead of Allen.

I did just have someone message me they've also heard Allen may not sign Thurdsy and that UF coaches are worried if he doesn't.

But again, rumors upon rumors.

I don't mean to be a dick, but you were so wrong on everything you said here. I don't know where you get your info, but it was bad.

In a mild surprise, North Little Rock 4-star shooting guard KeVaughn Allen has opted not to sign early with Florida where he has been committed for months. But it's a mild surprise at most because word begin to circulate last week that Allen was rethinking his decision. Arkansas and Memphis are two schools that have continued to recruit him among others.

We're recruiting the frick out of Allen and the consensus is with a strong season, we're flipping him.

He hasn't asked for it yet from the new coach, not official yet.
