Obviously, the Bama bump will validate his talent. Nevermind that Saban, Chavis, Brick Haley, etc have evaluated him and found him worthy.

I hate the people from places like ULL that say a guy only got a bump in the ratings because he committed to LSU. Well no shite, a guy that commits to LSU has a better chance of being a high level player than someone from ULL. fricking shocking.

This kid is talented, or at least shows the potential to be high-fricking-level talented. Otherwise he wouldn't have an offer from LSU and be committed to Bama. Good pickup.

ETA: I've had drinks. Take my statements as a general airing of grievances and not an attack on a particular poster.

I'm quite surprised Bama took his commitment at this stage of the cycle. I thought the LSU/Bama offers were more feelers at this stage and UNC was his legitimate offer. The LSU coaches seemed very high on him.

He will be offered a gray shirt as soon as a higher ranked DT commits.

Seriously though, with him and Charles Moseley, is Bama's NT class complete?
