Is Stephen Davis Jr going to Auburn? He knows where he's going, but not saying

Obviously, Davis did not sign in February and has remained publicly uncommitted. But he said Tuesday night he has committed to a four year school and will enroll there for summer school between June 25th and July 1st.

"I can't tell you that," Davis said when asked for specifics. "I've got to keep it a secret. I want to play offense but hopefully they put me where they think I'm going to ball at and I'm going to get ready to go."

Asked if his school is USC or Auburn, Davis replied, "Could be. Somewhere around there," adding that the school knows that he's coming.

As for the reason for the secrecy, Davis said he's following the advice of his future coaches.

"I've been talking to the coaches and they told me to leave it low key," he said. "And I've been talking to my dad and he told me to leave it low key. Me being the person that I am I'm not really a person that likes to talk too much. I just left it alone and listened to them and I'm just going to keep it low key."

Davis said academically he is qualified for freshman eligibility.
