Is this true in the past or is it more or less high ranked recruits buying in with his motivation as an intern head coach at USC/LSU where there is great talent and proven recruiting in place? How has he been as a recruiter when he was at OM & position coach at other schools?

How long has that kid had a relationship with LSU though and who was his primary recruiter?

He has always been a great recruiter. Ed O has some of the best stories on the trail, similar to harbaugh. He is a grinder on the trail and relates to parents and kids very well.

This is one thing people cannot criticize O for. He has always been one of the best recruiters in the nation.

I'm not going to look it up but he was a huge recruiter at Miami during their prime, also at USCw during Pete Caroll's days. Then he followed Kiffin to TN and boom! They landed the number one recruit and a top five class. Then they both bolt back to USCw and soon enough had a number one number or two class....something like that, and he was a huge factor in that. Then he comes to LSU and helped land us a phenomenal class last year and we are in line to do the same again...thanks alot to his efforts. He is an absolute ELITE recruiter. As good as it gets.

O is a good recruiter. If he keeps Aranda and gets a good OC, then he'll be very good. He may struggle some next season with a tough schedule and young team but he'll do a good job.

Search the rant bro. There's several threads with his accolades including recruiter of the year award.

Sorry it just seems troll like your questions and lack of willingness to research.

Two names for fun though:

Warren Sapp. Hall of famer
Arden Key. Most sacks in the SEC this year

This cycle:
Tyler shelvin
Marvin Wilson

"Meat Market" by Bruce Feldman is a great read and really goes in depth on Orgeron's recruiting at Ole Miss.

He's really good at what he does...

No trolling here. If it was a troll thread it would be on the rant and just didn't know where to start to get the info. Thank you though for the serious reply

He has been able to pull in takent anywhere he went. His ole miss teams were bad on the field but on paper not devoid of talent. That is why nutt had success after him

He has recruited and coached 13 defensive linemen alone that have become 1st round draft picks.
