I wouldn't say that if I were you. I've had a source that's been very accurate in he past that has been saying for almost a year now that we were going to sign him. He has numerous contacts in Texas high school and college coaching, and has been saying this since well before Bama was publicly involved. In fact, I've been mentioning to people on websites to watch out for this possibility for a good while now (since WAYYYYYYY before he announced he was visiting us). The issue is two-fold. 1)His father is apparently enamored with the way Saban runs his program. 2)Supposedly A&M hot-boxed Little to commit before he wanted to commit, and it rubbed his dad the wrong way.

That being said, I'm not onboard yet. I think it's about 50/50 either way. I'm not holding my breath. But, for you to speak on this like it's wrapped up or a done deal is foolishness. I do not recommend that. You'll likely see an article soon stating that he doesn't know where these rumors come from and that he plans on going to A&M... yadda, yadda, yadda. Don't be lured in and let that give you false confidence. It's going to play itself out later in the year. If he did flip, it wouldn't likely be anytime soon.

I have trouble believing A&M "hot-boxed" him two years away from NSD.

Say what you want but I know what I know, in the last 3 nfl drafts the state of Texas has 8 first round picks on the o-line (4 of them where top 5 picks) 3 of them where from A&M, the other one who is Lane Johnson is already a pro bowler on he knows he doesn't have to go to far to be successful

A&M hot boxed him is very wrong, this honestly leads me to believe your contact knows nothing, before Greg Little committed he visited A&M two weeks earlier and told Kevin Sumlin that he committed to them but wanted to keep it silent, Sumlin agreed and the day Damarkus Lodge and a lb from Cedar hill committed to A&M Greg Little made it public that he was an A&M commit and wanted to keep the momentum going. lol check out your dude again

Apparently you haven't paid attention to Alabama's wizardry in recruiting during your short amount of time in the SEC. Unless you are Greg Little himself, you shouldn't feel 100%. The BOL site is rarely wrong as well. The more smoke that comes from there the more you should be worried.

It doesn't matter what the rest of the state of Texas has done, but congrats on Texas A&M having one O line prospect drafted in the 1st round in the last 3 drafts. Before that, there was a drought between 2008 and 2013 without any O line players drafted from A&M.

Alabama is no slouch in putting offensive line players in the NFL. Since 2009, Alabama has had 3 offensive tackles and 1 offensive guard drafted in the 1st round.

Plus, Alabama's guys have SEC and national championship rings.

Then don't believe it. But it's true. His father has not been pleased with the way A&M has gone about some things. Now, he may wind up going there. But there's a VERY real chance he winds up at Bama.

His father hasn't been pleased with certain things in A&M's recruitment of him. This information has been known for some time now. I told people this on this board months ago. This isn't just "my source". This is pretty well known among several Texas HS coaches.I'm not saying you're GOING to lose him. But you should be sweating it quite a bit. We'll see how it plays out. Ole Miss and LSU are also players here.

Didn't you guys say the same thing about Kendall Sheffield last year?

AgRegime isn't an ag. Then again, who says "you guys" in alabama?

He's also said his mom is his biggest influence in recruiting, he almost never mentions his dad...

Plus if he is as close with his parents as it seems, it would stand to reason he'd like them to see more than 4 games in his career.

He's trying to keep his ranking and price as high as possible.

And when Lodge and the other guy decommitted, Little realized he may have been a little too hasty and is now doubting his commitment

See how we can play this game?

Lodge was iffy on our depth chart from the beginning, and when his recruiter left to be HC at Kansas we still finished in his top 3 at worst.

If you know anything about lodge, he's a very typical WR personality. He wants to be THE guy at OM, and I believe he will get every opportunity to be that as a soph.

Greg Little definitely wants to look around, he will take visits etc up until NSD. No one is saying he isn't open to being recruited other than an alter.

The "other guy" being Richard Moore, who currently wears an A&M jersey with the number 7.

You used to really hate those shirts and bumper stickers that said "second place is first loser." But for the first time ever, I understand the phrases true meaning.

Alabama is going to get theirs no matter what. I'd rather them get theirs and not A&M and Alabama get theirs.

Hope he ends up at Alabama

That's how I feel about it. I'd rather Bama have the players to go toe to toe with LSU and have to beat a solid Bama team to win the west than have schools like A&M and Ole Miss bringing in Bama/LSU type talent.

They're going to get theirs. When all's said and done my preference would be to have one or maybe two other schools with comparable talent than four or five.
